Tee Ball

We purchased a bat and tee ball set for Ford over the weekend and he had the best time at the ballpark with Jim! Yes...spring will bring tee ball games and our life of sports will officially begin!

From Cubby to Locker!

Ford moved up to a new class at Kindercare today. He also graduated from a simple cubby to an official locker! Here he is proudly showing it off when Daddy dropped him off this morning! Way to go, Ford!!

Birthday Boy --- Part 2!!

Ford had another wonderful day of birthday celebrations....this one on his actual birthday! We started the day by going out for a breakfast of waffles before school and work. We then partied during the afternoon at his school with his best friends! We had Super Hero popsicles, mini-cupcakes and apple juice! Ford and Mommy ended the day with a nice long bicycle ride in the neighborhood...with Mommy running alongside trying to keep up!

This is one of my favorite photos ever...Ford and some of his buddies!

This is one of Ford's "special friends"....Eva.

This is another "special friend"....Bethanny!

Birthday Boy!

Ford will be 4 on August 10th....we can hardly believe it! We had a small party planned with family this past Saturday, but Poppa broke his ankle in two places and can't get around or drive and Grandma had knee surgery and can't get around very well. Then Aunt Lori got sick....so we just canceled the formal party and had pizza with Nana and Papaw. We had fun...but sure did miss everyone and hope to see them soon.

Ford has transferred his fascination from all things fire fighters to super heroes. I found this inexpensive Spiderman costume and he loves it as much as he does his turn-out gear! Although I must say he looks a little unsettling with the mask on as well...but he loves it!

He also received a book that you turn into a pirate ship - pretty cool! He received a Toy Story 3 sleeping bag from Nana and Papaw...worked wonderfully in the den floor resting Sunday afternoon and watching his Superman movie (another birthday gift that we found for $0.95 at McKay Books!).
